NDSO has been at the forefront of disaster response and relief efforts, providing critical assistance during natural calamities and crises. Our proactive efforts have been widely recognized, including the prestigious Best Service Award from the Madras School of Social Work.
During Chennai Floods (2015), Vardha Cyclone (2020), Kerala Floods (2020), and Nivar Cyclone NDSO provided immediate relief, including tarpaulins, blankets, and food supplies, and conducted detailed surveys to assess damage and provide targeted support for families to rebuild their lives.
Distributed 28,000 meals, provided groceries worth INR 16 lakhs, and converted 4 vans into ambulances to ensure critical transportation during the pandemic.
Supported 3,000 affected families with groceries, sarees, lungis, towels, blankets, and grass mats.
